A.R Rehman’s song Boom Boom Robo Da in the famous Rajnikaant starrer Endhiran has been sung by Shweta Mohan, who tied the knot with Ashwin.With the song ‘Achcham Achcham Illai’ Swetha marked her debut in the South Indian film industry and since then has never looked back. ‘Oh Maha Zeeya’ in the movie Tamizh Padam is another of her hits.

The guests present at the marriage today included music director V Dakshinamurthy, the minister of culture affairs of Kerala , Mr.M A Baby and also renowned Carnatic singer, Yesudas. The wedding ceremonies were attended by many eminent people from the world of Carnatic music.

The wedding of Swetha & Ashwin is a love-cum-arranged one. Both the families have been friends for a long time. According to sources, after the wedding, Swetha will be leaving to the US along with her husband and will be settling along with him there. However Ashwin being more passionate to music than Swetha, does not want her to leave music.
