Google Music India’s Google Music Search – Simple Add-On for Browsers is planning to buy by Google with a subscription based music service. According to sources Google Music India’s Google Music Search has some internal conflicts. Due to internal politics three different groups were fighting for control and ownership inside Google, and couldn’t agree on an approach. Instead of a streaming service, Google is now looking to build a digital locker, which will store user-owned music and allow users to stream their own content to a device.

Currently, Google is concentrating on another project called Digital Locker, which is capable enough to store user-owned music and also allows the user to stream their interested content to a device. Now, Google Music Streaming took the back seat and Digital Locker occupied the front seat. Google new music search feature is currently only available in the U.S.
