No, this one is not related to the AOSP. This is a freshly baked ROM from Google Nexus S! One good folk from our lovely Android community François Simond has managed to port the Gingerbread from Google Nexus S to Samsung Galaxy S.

Though this is an early port and most of the stuff isn’t working right now. But this is not going to be a problem you know. Here’s a video showing Samsung Galaxy S running Android 2.3 Gingerbread with Nexus S kernel:
