The aim of Apsara Film and Television Producers Guild Awards is to celebrate the success of the Indian entertainment industry and those who have made a significant contribution in congratulating incredible growth. Awards presented a show that consists of stunning performances of the biggest stars of Indian cinema.

One of the most acclaimed films of 2010, Ishqiya was nominated for the best film and best actress categories as well as best music category. Farah Khan was nominated for best choreography for the two most famous dance number of the year “Munni Badnam Hui” and “Sheila Ki Jawani.”

Best Actor in a leading role: Salman Khan (Dabangg)

Dabangg (8), Band Baaja Baaraat(6) and Guzaarish (5) got the most number of awards of all films.

Apsara Awards will be telecast on 23rd January 2011 on COLORS with stellar performances by top actors and actresses from the industry.
