Heard that? The official PlayStation is app is now available for the iPhone. This new little boy has got a nice clean interface, is totaly free and does not do the very obvious thing you’d expect it to do!

Sony has just rolled out the official PlayStation app to the Apple app store that is slowly being made available everywhere. It’s totaly free and has got a nice interface according to the front line users. All fine but it is not to play PlayStation games on the iPhone. Why on earth would Sony want people to play their awesome games on the iPhone? Why not on PSP or the PlayStation phone? They rather want to provide you with a nice little way to keep up with your PlayStation network friends, read PlayStation blog, browse friends’ games and read the latest PlayStation news. That’s it!
