Verizon and Apple have just announced the iPhone 4 for Verizon wireless across the US. This much awaited announcement has finally brought a hope to iPhone lovers that they’d actually be able to make calls from their iPhones. We are hoping cool stuff like the wi-fi hotspot and full Google voice support as well but Apple’s Tim Cook just said that the Verizon iPhone 4 has nothing diffirent but the radio. It is made to work with Verizon’s CDMA network otherwise it just the same device.
Verizon’s Dan Dee says that they have significantly increased the network capacity to cop with the possible load:
“iPhone 4 is going to run on our network… network capacity — we have advanced the capacity and built margin into it. We’re ready for this launch.”
Right right, I’d beleive that you guys are ready if I can I have the wi-fi hotspot.
