Manish Acharya : Filmmaker Manish Acharya Passed Away today on December 4, 2010. Manish Acharya, who was an young director rose to fame with his first film Loins of Punjab Presents. According to sources Manish died in a road accident. Manish Acharya also directed some films like Luck By Chance and Sita Sings the Blues. Manish Acharya was a talented writer, actor who had done his MFA in Film Directing from the NYU Tisch School of the Arts.

It stars Shabana Azmi, Ayesha Dharker and Ajay Naidu.Young filmmaker Manish Acaharya also acted in Zoya Akhtar’s LUCK BY CHANCE and was the narrator of SITA SINGS THE BLUES. After Sourabh Usha Narang and Pankaj Advani, Manish is the third young filmmaker who has died this year. One of his last posts on Twitter was. “Matheran… Here I come.”
