JMET 2011 results will be announced on January 3, 2011 at 1000 hours at GATE offices of IISc/IITs. It will also be available on the websites of IISc/IITs. The JMET 2011 website will provide the JMET scores both to the qualified and to the non-qualified candidates.
JMET 2011 results will be declared tomorrow on January 3, 2011 at 10:00 AM. JMET Results will be available on the websites of IISc/IITs as per info available at IITD website. JMET scores will be available for both to the qualified as well as non-qualified candidates.JMET exam was held on 12th Dec 2010.
JMET scorecard will be sent only to the qualified candidates. Non qualified candidates will not be intimated. In the scorecard, candidates can know All India Rank, total marks obtained and the marks got in each of the 4 sections.
For JMET Exam there is negative marking of 0.25 marks for wrong answer.
JMET 2010 Analysis
The overall difficulty level of the paper was ‘Moderate to Difficult’. The number of questions were 120. The Verbal Ability section consisted of questions on Reading Comprehension, grammar and vocabulary. The questions of this section were of ‘moderate to difficult’ difficulty level.
The Reasoning section had questions on verbal and logical reasoning. The difficulty level of the section was ‘easy to moderate’ and ‘moderate to difficult’. The Quantitative Ability section had questions on Geometry and Arithmetic. The topics of the questions were on time-speed-distance, permutation-combination-probability, linear programming, Algebra and logic based. This section was also of ‘easy to moderate’ difficulty level. The Data Interpretation section was easiest among the other sections. This section had seven sets with data representation in the form of line graph, bar graph, pie chart etc. There was a good mix of the questions based on the sets involving simple and lengthy calculations.
