Yesterday we told you guys that the Android Market on Android 2.3 Gingerbread was spotted to have a ‘Related’ tab and it is already here! No need to wait for the Gingerbread!

Just a moment ago I was browsing some installed apps on my Desire to find that there was a ‘Related’ tab appearing on the app pages. I am having Orange’s official Froyo on my phone. So I think the Android Market on Froyo has gotten this update. I am not quite sure if everybody having Froyo has gotten this or this has only started to roll out with some people still on the waiting list. Previously, when you opened an app page on the Android Market on your Android handset, you saw ‘About’ and ‘Comments’ tabs. Now you see a total of three tabs with ‘Related’ added.
We were keen to know that how’d this work but now we know! When you open an app page you are provided with the apps that are similar to the one you are browsing. For example on ‘Adobe Reader’ page on Android Market the ‘Related’ tab enlisted ‘BeamReader PDF Viewer’, ‘gReader’, Adobe Air and the likes.
