Google Nexus S brings a strange price difference between UK and US. For a mediocre specs list with a 5MP camera, 1GHz CPU, 512MB RAM and the likes, the phone shouldn’t be more than $500 or so.
BestBuy has kept the phone in exactly the same price range at $529. But you know what? Carphone Wharehouse is the first one to reveal the Nexus S price in the UK which is so whoopingly, jaw dropingly and I don’t know what notingly high as compared to US. No, it is not £350, not £400, not £450, not £500 even. It is £549!
Sure some other smartphones are selling for a similar price plan but for mediocre phone like Nexus S, this is such a high price. And it draws a huge diffrence between Google Nexus S UK and Google Nexus S US prices. I don’t know if this is by mistake or it is the legitimate price planned for UK. We need to wait for Vodaphone, T-Mobile or BestBuy to reveal their prices to know the truth. It must be way less than that to be compatible with the US.
