The Maruti Suzuki SX4 diesel is likely to sport the powered-up 90bhp version of the tried and tested 1.3-litre DDiS engine. The diesel option may not be available in the absolute base version of the current MarutiSuzukiSX4, so we’re pinning a price of around Rs 8.5 lakh for the most inexpensive version, and around Rs 9 lakh ex-showroom for the fully-loaded diesel SX4.
The Maruti Suzuki SX4 term was used by American Motors (AMC) for a sporty liftback model. Maruti will continue to use the DDiS engines. In the European market, the SX4 is sold with 1.9-litre and 2.0-litre DDis engine options.
