We knew it was coming. In fact we didn’t have any doubt in it. Everybody was talking about this thing. But we were all eager to know the release date for Nexus One Android 2.3 Gingerbread OTA. Google’s been silent on this annoying all the poor Nexus One owners our there envying their friends with Nexus S in hands but not anymore! The silence is finally broken by the official Google Nexus Twitter account! Telling us that we have to be patient for now as Nexus One Gingerbread OTA is a matter of weeks instead of days.

Coming weeks? Not a week, there’s a wait of more than one week you know. If this thing wait gonna extend over 3+ weeks, it makes it a month! Let’s hope that’s not the case and we start seeing the OTA Gingerbread pushing to our Nexus Ones in matter of a week, well a little more than that.
I have been hearing from many of you guys that if this thing gonna take too long you won’t wait and go ahead and take the things into your own hands.
